Has anyone else experienced embarrasment at the hands of self serve checkout??. I left tesco red faced as the machine kept announcing to all and sundry that ' unexpected item in the bagging area'. It made me feel like a shop lifter but in actual fact the machine was off its rocker. After 15 mins and several calls for assistance I lfet the supermarket with a vow never to use this evil again.
