Name: Mayumi Katsura

Age: 13

Appearance: In the winter time she's usually wearing a grey jacket (similar to the one in the picture) while for her school uniform she wears a little black dress with a deep red sash with a white stripe and black mary jane themed shoes, she wears this to most events out side of school as well.

Personality: While most usually find her stand offish and anti social, Mayumi is actually just a rather shy and akward young girl. She is a girl of few words and tends to be a listener instead of a talker. She believes that it is pointless to waste a precious breath of are on saying meaningless words giving way to her quiet nature. Due to her quiet nature, she has a naturally soft tone of voice that unfortunately usually lacks much emotion to it as well. She is highly independent and tends to keep her pains or worries to herself. Because of this every so often she may have an emotional breakdown and take out any negative feelings on herself by scratching at her wrists or hitting her thighs either leaving scratch marks or bruises in which she hides with color toned bandaids.
When she doesn't have a blank, dull look on her face it isn't uncommon to see her with an uncanny smile, that can sometimes be used to decieve another when something's bothering her. Though Mayumi can easily be seen as a dull person, deep down she is almost as fragile as the glass figurines she collects. She adores glass figurines and even has a room dedicated to them at her home and of all asorts; small, big, new, old, and though she has many cute ones, her favorites are the ones as bizzare as she, herself.

History: Mayumi was raised up in Hinamizawa but in a way where most weren't even aware of her own existence. She lived with her grandmother, whom was unliked by many and full of hawty pride until she was 10 and the old woman had dissapeared. She lost both of her parents by age 4; her father leaving without a trace, her mother from suicide and leaving the grandmother in utter disguist. Due to her grandmother's disguisted embarrassment by having to raise a good for nothing grandchild, Mayumi was kept inside of the house and rather hidden most of her life. Because of this, she had lots of free time to read and still well educated. Even though she now lives in an empty house without an adult to parent her, neither Mayumi or any of the villagers ever bother to file a missing report for the grandmother, since she had also been the only surviving member of the family so she recieved her grandmother's fortune and home which she peacefully lives in on her own. Things seem to be brighter for Mayumi counting she's finally able to go to a school like a normal child, but this peaceful livelyhood will definitely not last forever.

Talents: extremely observative, artistic, tactiful, medical knowledge due to reading many books.

Weaknesses: can be seen as stuck up or insensitive due to social akwardness, a bit naiive, not very psysical and easily considered weak.

RP Sample: The young girl continued walking down the path leading to the small school building. Her long dark gray, almost black hair trailed behind her while her hands clutched tightly to her book bag. A few of the school yard children noticed her and waved though puzzled by her presence. She wasn't too sure how to respond so the girl ignored them and continued walking towards the steps to the building entrance. She did her best to shield her anxiety behind those hazy violet eyes before Mayumi took her first steps into the school for the very first time. ( I hope it's okay!)
